Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were tidy and comfortable, which I appreciated, and the atmosphere was charmingly rustic. However, there were issues with the water during my stay that caused a significant inconvenience, and the overall service fell short of what I would expect for the price. While the location is ideal for exploring, I feel there are better options nearby.
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The owners really take pride in maintaining the property, and it shows. The location is perfect, right near the state park and bike trails, which made our nature activities a breeze. However, the coffee situation could use some improvement, and one minor incident with water really did put a dent in our stay.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to the owner Carol’s thoughtful customization of my room. The location couldn't be better, right across from the beautiful Peninsula State Park and just a short drive to charming shops and restaurants. The facilities were pretty good, especially for large gatherings. However, being an older property, there were a few quirks that could use addressing, like how their rental towel program works.
We had a fantastic time at the hotel during our family reunion. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable, providing everything we needed for our gathering. The pool was a big hit for the kids, and the Gathering Room was perfect for our group activities. However, being an older property, it does have some quirks that come with age, like needing to bring your own towels. Overall, it was a great experience, and we look forward to returning.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location right at the State Park is perfect for exploring the bike trails, the accommodations themselves fell short of expectations. The cleanliness and maintenance were commendable, but some amenities, like stronger coffee and better bedding, are needed for an improved stay.
